Short Biography and Research Focus

Ruijing was born and raised in southern China. With academic background in chemistry and polymer materials. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Polymer Material and Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2021 and went on to pursue a Master's degree in organic chemistry (especially photochemistry with organoboron reagents) under the joint program between Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and ShanghaiTech University. Throughout his studies, Ruijing has developed strong interest towards organic chemistry, and he joined the group of Prof. Zipse in 2025. His current research interest mainly lies in novel catalysts synthesis and the development of kinetic resolution.
