Short Biography and Research Focus

Annsophie was born in Mannheim and grew up in Mannheim and Essen. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she completed her Bachelor's thesis in the group of Prof. Fritz E. Kühn. She then continued her studies at TUM, focusing on organic and macromolecular chemistry with additional practical training in biochemistry. For her Master's thesis, she joined the group of Prof. David Konrad at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). In 2026, she joined the group of Prof. Hendrik Zipse as a PhD student. Her research focuses on organocatalysis, the synthesis of novel catalysts, and kinetic resolution.
